We were thrilled with the food and service that lettuce Cater provided. Many guests commented on the wonderful appetizers and we were able to taste a few and thought they were delicious. I loved all of them but the mashed potato bites turned out great and were my favorite. I had the chicken and Andy had the mushroom ravioli and both were just as good as our tasting! The plating and presentation was also terrific! I really appreciated how attentive the servers were. They set up the tables beautiful and were so helpful clearing tables and helping with the centerpieces at the end of the night. Everything was great. Thank you and everyone at Lettuce for helping us plan and being a part of our special day. I will recommend Lettuce to anyone I know who is looking for catering services. Thanks Christine & Andy

I know it’s been a little while since the wedding, but I just wanted to thank you and your staff for the amazing work at our wedding. The food was delicious and you and your wait staff were an absolute joy to work with! You made the planning process so easy and In truly appreciate your work. I also wanted to let you know I reviewed Lettuce Cater on a wedding site so hopefully that will help out with a little PR! Here is my review: First off YUM!!!!! The food was delicious! I was looking around our reception at the end  of dinner and let’s just say, most of our guests were members of the “clean plate club”! Our guests raved. It tastes and looks like restaurant quality food! You would never know that lettuce Cater was preparing food for 250 guests simultaneously. The food speaks for itself and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Jules made the whole planning process seamless. Even our a tasting was beautiful! Jules went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our choices. She even let us take a little doggie bag home to my dad who was unable to make the tasting. He really appreciated tasting the food and like my husband and I, had a very hard time narrowing down our choices! They were even accommodating to a few of our guests with special dietary needs. They were able to make meals Gluten free with no problem or hesitation.
The wait staff was also wonderful. At the beginning of the night, the lead sever personally came over and introduced herself. We had a plated dinner and it went seamlessly. They even plated and put out our late night snack. We ordered gourmet pizzas- not from lettuce, simple because of our venue limitations but they still served it with a smile and made sure everyone was taken care of  I don’t know how but I will find a way to work with Lettuce Cater again and I would recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect caterer. Because Lettuce is it! Thanks again for everything! You are wonderful and I just smile thinking about all the wonderful work you did and how Lettuce was a huge part in making our day special! Katie

Everything was wonderful! I have never heard so many people talk about how amazing wedding food was! It was all so delicious, the steaks were cooked perfectly. I had one person say their chicken was a little dry, but that was honestly the only complaint from 150 people. I am so grateful. We even went to a relatives wedding a few weeks later catered by a respected competitor of yours and had people telling Brent and I how much better our food was. We’ve been referring your name to many friends and family.

Marisa and Robby had a simply wonderful wedding and reception.  Every moment felt like a fairytale.  Everyone and everything looked , felt and tasted wonderful.  All of the guest raved about the food – it seemed to be just the right mix of fun and flavor. I cannot say enough good things about your staff that was at the library that night.  Every single one of them was highly professional, extremely friendly, and right there when something was needed.  We were very impressed by our work with you and we had the same experience with all of your staff.  Please thank the chef and everyone for their wonderful contributions to Marisa and Robby’s important day. First things first.   FOOD  WAS  AWESOME!  Seriously  GREAT.    I did have the pancakes, and the brie cheese apps. Semple Mansion Wedding Reception My groom and I chose Lettuce Catering because we were blown away at our tasting-the food was high-end restaurant quality!  I was a little nervous because I heard a lot of brides say that many times the quality of food at the tasting is better than the reception but that was definitely not the case with Lettuce. Our reception food was as good if not better than the tasting.  We had a buffet with a chicken dish and beef carved by a chef.  I loved the carving station because it added a little touch of class and also made the meat so fresh.  We had several guests tell us our food was the best wedding food they had ever had! Our head server, Dawn, greeted my groom and I before the dinner and let us know we could come to her for anything throughout the night, which I really appreciated.  All of the servers were friendly, helpful and efficient. Jules, you are phenomenal.  Anytime I had questions leading up to the day, you responded promptly, which is so important for a stressed out bride trying to keep track of dozens of vendors and hundreds of details.  I am just amazed at how organized you are despite all of the events you guys have going on. 50th Wedding Anniversary –My parents loved their party.  The food was very good, I heard from the guests.  I did not eat much because I was running around, and regretted it afterwards! Wish I would have tried more of the food! Everything went great with both events – and we managed to surprise my Mom! As you know, our first event went right up to the reception, leaving me little time to check on the catering.  Our pre -event communication left me confident that your staff would get everything set up without me there.  I was not disappointed.  I arrived minutes before the first guests arrived – and there was nothing for me to do!  I did introduce myself to most of the catering staff but it almost seemed unnecessary as they didn’t need anything from me.  The catering was fantastic and I was very pleased with their professionalism – that is, they just did their jobs without any direction from me.  I heard good comments about the food, which I am sure is due in part to the final preparation of the food being done on site – not at a kitchen hours before.  I will be referring your company to anyone looking for a caterer.  Thanks again!  Michele.

University of Minnesota Physicians have used Lettuce Cater multiple times for our business events and meetings and has never been disappointed.  The freshness and flavor of the food is top quality and the prices are more than reasonable.  For our most recent event we chose the signature lasagna to feed almost 200 people.  The professional and friendly Lettuce Cater staff delivered the food on time and set up an eye appealing display of food.  Everyone thought the food was fantastic.  From the box lunches for business meetings to full buffets for larger events, you just can’t find better quality anywhere in town! Our “All Team Holiday Lunch” is the climax to our year and busy fall season.  When there was a situation with the original caterer I thought disaster was on the horizon.  Then I called Lettuce Cater and you were able to work out dates and a menu that worked for both of us on very short notice.  The unique situation with our event is that we have to do it four times to accommodate all our shifts.  Every one of the lunch events turned out fabulous.  We received great comments from our team members on the food, both quality and quantity.  They were aware of the situation with the initial caterer, but Lettuce Cater took over without missing a beat.  Thank you for all your help turning a bad situation into a wonderful event, or should I say events!!! Big Snow Storm Weekend! You guys were wonderful.  I didn’t really get a chance to eat too much of the food but people were raving.  The spring rolls and the fish cakes were the biggest hits. Having Brian there was great and our lead server was a doll (people thought she was so fantastic). One of the Vice Presidents of Hormel told me that it was the best food we have had in the 12 years he has been coming to our parties. We are very much looking forward to working with you and your crew again next year.  Also, put your thinking cap on and see if you guys can come up with something creative for the letter “E” for next year. As winners of the 2007 Trend Wedding, my husband and I knew we were in for a treat when it came to the cuisine.  Self-proclaimed “foodies”, in our wildest dreams, we never could have imagined the amazing eight-course feast that Chef Brian and his team put together. Taking into account our love for seafood, steak, fruits and vegetables, Lettuce Cater provided a phenomenal meal that was a delight for both the eyes and the taste buds. FIVE All of the food was AMAZING!  We heard tons of great comments from our guests. The big surprise was that the chicken tandoori was spot on!  And we really appreciated the rice along with it which we weren’t expecting.  (Kudos to the chef!) I wanted to let you know that we absolutely LOVED everything about working with you and your staff. You were wonderful with everything from the tasting to the day of the event. Your staff was excellent and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect! They even did the pocket fold on the napkins that I wanted even though I thought they couldn’t do to time. It is small details such as this that sets you apart! Also, we had some people show up that had not planned on being at dinner and your staff helped find chairs for them…something that is by no means their job! They were very helpful. We received more compliments that the food at our wedding was the best food anyone has ever had to date at a wedding reception.  Brian and I picked a more non-traditional fare of family-style dinner consisting of pulled pork, roasted chicken, cashew coleslaw, cheesy cornbread, and a roasted veggie platter – and it turned out fantastically amazing.  And, there was no shortage of accolades given for the most terrific appetizers of balsamic, mozzarella, tomato bruschetta and deep fried mash potato bites.  At the tasting, we were sold.  At the wedding reception, we were blown away. Lettuce Cater and Chef Christian provided an unmatched and beautifully-presented meal.  And, the fact that our friends and family are a bunch of foodies, and the meal wowed us and everyone else is probably the best compliment a caterer could receive!  I also appreciated Dawn, the head server, taking such good care of Brian and I during the wedding. She made sure we had appetizers at our table and all of our needs were met.  The extra special attention was a nice treat.  Without questions, Lettuce Cater truly enhanced out wedding experience and that of our guests.  There is no doubt that in looking back at our wedding today and when we do in the future, that this is most definitely a highlight of the day. Both the food and service you provided were exceptional. We received compliments about all of the food, but particularly the Ahi Tuna and the Chicken Skewers.  Additionally, the chef on site (I regret that I didn’t catch their names) were both attentive to the buffet and great with the guests.  In fact, things went so well that we had a few guests request your company’s information for their own future events.  We gave these guests business cards that your chef provided us, and we encouraged them to contact you. We had a lot of good feedback from our guests about the food. The steaks were all done to everyone’s liking and the pies were a hit!  Actually, it was all a blur for me as the evening went so fast! Brides: “I can’t say enough good things about Lettuce Cater – the team pulled off the whole night flawlessly!  I heard that the trial menu always tastes/looks better that the actual meal served, but I didn’t find that to be the case at all the Lettuce!   Jules was great to work with – always responded quickly to my questions and requests and helped me put together a serving agenda that worked perfectly with the timing for my reception.  The serving staff was friendly and helpful, accommodated my requests, and served the meals as quickly as possible.  To keep prices low, Jules might tweak the staffing levels, but we found it to be right on for our group size.  Given the rate we paid, I didn’t expect such a beautiful meal!  When we booked, the company was still trying to grow business (they haven’t been around that long), so we were nervous about a lot of things, but found that it was a bargain in the end and would definitely refer them to future brides!” Lindsay

The food was FANTASTIC!  The guys who came to set up were wonderful!  Everyone really raved about the food.
