If you recently got engaged – Congratulations! Now comes the overwhelming part…planning a wedding. But fear not, over the past couple years there have been many websites dedicated to helping brides plan out their wedding. One of our personal favorites is The Knot.

I first found out about The Knot when a friend of mine was getting married and she sent out the link their personal wedding page. I was impressed that you could create essentially your own “website” dedicated to how you met, where you’re registered, RSVP’s, and even the wedding party – where there never seems to be a lack of embarrassing photos of friends. Soon all of my friends were using The Knot and it was just something you did when you got married.

Then I started working in the wedding business at Lettuce Cater and became much more familiar with The Knot and realized it’s a one stop shop for everything you need and need to know for your wedding. (No I do not work for The Knot, it is really just that good.)

Just for some examples The Knot features wedding checklists, wedding budget help, wedding dress ideas, bridesmaids dress ideas, registry guidance, honeymoon ideas, a wedding community, and much more. But, one of the most helpful features on the site is the list of local wedding vendors for your city. The list includes, but is not limited to, florists, hair and makeup stylists, DJ’s, bakers, guest accommodations, photographers, and caterers.  In The Knot’s database of vendors you are able to see the location address, a phone number to get in contact, the price range, customer reviews, photos, and more. It really wonderful detail so you know what to expect and can get real data on the vendor, not just some marketing verbiage.

Lettuce Cater has been working with The Knot for several years and recently received the honor of being their pick for “Best Caterer” and received more 5 star reviews than any other caterer in Minnesota.We are so grateful for that honor and want to thank all of our customers for choosing us as their wedding caterer and providing your honest feedback on our services.
