The Stillwater Public Library offers a unique setting for weddings, meetings and special events. You and your guests will experience spectacular views of downtown Stillwater and the beautiful St. Croix River from our exclusive rooftop terrace. All of Stillwater’s best features: the St. Croix River, paddle boats, the lift bridge, the historic courthouse, and many of the city’s historic church steeples are visible from Johnson Terrace.
The Library’s original 1902 ornate doorway, a stately pergola and art glass form the perfect backdrop for your event. Maximum capacity of Johnson Terrace is 300. The Library also offers a more intimate indoor meeting and banquet room. The Margaret Rivers room can accomodate 120 guests for a dinner, or 150 guests for lectures and wedding ceremonies. Our event wing offers spacious bathroom facilities, an art gallery, conference room and parking garage.
